Gene was inspired to pursue veterinary medicine when Wendy read him James Herriot’s “All Creatures Great & Small”. He also volunteers at Saving Grace Pet Adoption Center, where Wendy is the Executive Director.

Dr. Kang graduated from vet school in 2009 at Colorado State University (go Rams!), where he also received his acupuncture training, and earned his animal chiropractic certification at Options College of Animal Chiropractic in Kansas.

Wendy & Gene came to Roseburg, Oregon in the summer of 2009. They have 2 dogs, Geh-Gogi (Korean for dog meat), and Gayah, and 2 cats, Munki and Bug.
